Sketchbook - QT Crawlies Butterflies 1

Since I finished re-drawing 2010 and 2011's QT Crawlies and am now in the process of inking them, I've had to start coming up with new ones. I have a set allotment for this year, so I'll have time for the other projects, but there's just so many I want to draw. Just in Family Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths) there's so many! I'll have to make a list and save the surplus for 2013. But here, have some butterflies!


The elegant Hairstreak! There are many types of Hairstreak throughout the world, but the one that resembles my drawing really catches my attention!


The Metalmark. Metal makes me think of rock stars and the future. Hence this character design.

    Not only is the anatomy wonderful (nice curves), I love these designs! Dem Metalmark shoes-UMPH. The Hairstreak's...well, hair-YUM. XD

    Don't expect anything spectacular. 8D I only seem to be able to do chicken scratches these days.

      The unremarkable have the potential to become remarkable. Keep that in mind. >:3

      I still want to draw Pristiq, Cherry, Shimo, one of your Sailor OCs that I can't remember the name of... I'm going to be making quite a lot of use of your website when it's all updated and I'm ready to draw. You have so many OCs to keep track of! XD Maybe I'll even find more to draw.

      What does the SM OC look like? I should know all of their names. If not, then that would be sad. 8D

      Pristiq has given me trouble; I can't quite get her down. Shimo and Cherry are okie dokie (I'm doing a Cherry soon too).

      I guess I need to update the site just for you. I've been working on it. (But I keep losing track of the folder I have the files in, ACK!) I just hope Dubie, the lady who made that layout, doesn't think it was time wasted. >.>
      I think most sections will have something new when I upload everything. Yay?

      She had lots of hair... I'm pretty sure you showed me her in class once? I don't know, maybe I saw her on dA, but there was a floral border around the drawing that I remember I liked and she was curvy and muscular, but a lot of your characters have that body type. <3

      I remember you mentioning that before about Pristiq... I guess I take some liberties and see how you like them? And yay for more Cherry! ^^

      Just for me? :O I feel special~ Though I'm sure other people will enjoy seeing the updated site. I can't be the only friend that wants to draw you stuff! 8D
